Gospel of Matthew 5

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Meaning: The meek – those who are humble and gentle – will receive God’s favor and will share in His kingdom and blessings.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Meaning: This verse is from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount.
