Gospel of Matthew 5

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Meaning: The meek – those who are humble and gentle – will receive God’s favor and will share in His kingdom and blessings.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Meaning: This verse is from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. It teaches that those who show compassion and mercy to others will themselves be shown mercy. It reflects a spiritual principle: what you give, you receive. Mercy builds bridges—between people and between humanity and God.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Meaning: Those whose hearts are sincere and untainted by malice or hypocrisy will experience God's presence directly.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. Meaning: Those who strive for peace and reconciliation are honored and recognized as God's children.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Spiritual Reflection: Jesus calls us to live in a way that radiates God’s love and truth. Our good deeds are not meant to bring attention to ourselves, but to point people toward God, inspiring them to glorify Him for what they witness in our lives.
