Gospel of Matthew 9:37

"Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Spiritual insight: This verse represents the divine mission. Jesus reminds his disciples that the world is full of people ready to receive truth and love, yet there are few willing to serve. He calls us to pray that God would send out workers—those willing to act in compassion and truth. It teaches that God's work advances through faithful hearts who answer His call."
